The University of Canberra Senior Secondary College Lake Ginninderra (UC SSC Lake Ginninderra) is a public secondary college located on the shores of Lake Ginninderra in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. It was founded in 1987 and the unique architecture of the campus gained local recognition at the time, being awarded the ACT Architecture Merit Award.

The college caters for students in Years 11 and 12, with approximately 660 students currently enrolled and around 45 teachers employed. The college offers students over 80 courses of study for the award of the ACT Year 12 Certificate, with students who complete a Tertiary Package able to sit the ACT Scaling Test to obtain an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for admission to university.

Achievement in traditional subjects is complemented by a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities such as the Elite Sports Program, which is offered in partnership with the Australian Institute of Sport. This program is unique in Australia, boasting many Olympians among its students. The college is also renowned throughout Australia for its Outdoor Education Program, which has a strong environmental, adventure and cultural emphasis.

Facilities of the college include a gym, cafeteria, library, theatre and drama studio, dance studio, TV studio, editing booths and four-track sound recording facility. There are six computing laboratories, an IT Skills Centre, a CAD room and an impressive science faculty. The college was also the first school in Australia to have its own wind tunnel, used in conducting scientific experiments.

The current principal of the college is Martin Watson, who states that “the college undertakes to provide an engaging, challenging, supportive and positive environment to support the success of every student.”
